Woops I forgot!

Hey again...
So I forgot to tell you all some great news that Kim and I found out the other day!
We will be living down the hall from each other on the smae floor and everything in Edwards hall!! This is very exciting for us! We also have our hostel booked for when we arrive in Newcastle. It's called Backpackers by the Beach!! We have a private room which is good because I'm super nervous about the whole hostel thing! If you have any advice in that department, leave a comment! Any help/advice would be appreciated!!

It's not goodbye, it's see you later!

So the time has come that I am leaving this fine town of Flagstaff to head back home and see the fambam and pack!! Saying goodbye is always one fo the hardest things to do for me. I know it is only see you later since I will be back at the end of November, but still missing all of the important things here in the US will be hard....this just means you all better be skyping me and posting stuff on Facebook!! Ps. My skype name is kypow21 so add me so I can see all of your pretty faces!!

On a brighter note, one of my good friends and coworkers threw me a going away party the other weekend...the theme...USA...'Merica!! haha It was a blast and so fun being able to dress up all patriotic.

In the preparation for leaving, I have also been saying goodbye to family and friends and of course I need to get a picture with them!! Thanks Mom for making me always have my camera with me...darn scrapbooking moms! :P

Oh and in the picture of me in the grey shirt is my beautiful cousin Leah and her husband to be, Sam. I stopped by their brand new house to visit and see the place (so cute). Leah is too sweet and made me an adorable wristlet purse to take with me to Australia!!!

I'm for sure going to miss all of these wonderful people!! More "see you later" photos to come!

TWO WEEKS LEFT IN THE USA!!!!

Howdy Folks!
So as you probably ahve already read in the title...I have two weeks left in the United States of America!!!! I am getting very anxious and nervous, but of course extremely excited!! Fun story for you all...this past winter break my mom, sister and I went to Disneyland and California Adventures. We were waiting in line to take a picture with Pluto when the family in front of us asked us to take a picture for them. Of course we said yes, but the kicker is they had an accent from Australia. Turns out they were from New Zealand, but live in Sydney, Australia! So fun fact about this story is that she gave us her email address and the other week we emailed her asking about Australia stuff. Luckily, she offered to pick Kim and I up from the airport and let us stay at her house for the 3 days that we will be in Sydney!! This is so exciting! Kim and I want to bring her back something cool from Arizona or Lake Havasu...have any ideas?

Heading out!

Long time no talk....to update you all...I have my new passport, my VISA, and housing comfirmed!! Kim and I bought our plane tickets the other day and we will be heading out July 9th!! We are taking Hawaiian Airlines which is kinda exciting for me since we will be stopping in Hawaii to swtich flights (I love Hawaii). :D I have to start packing. I am expecting this to be an interesting process since the weather there will be Winter to Spring so kind of cold to warmer. Since I have a Flagstaff coat on now 60 degress doesn't seem to crazy cold to me. I've been told it will be like southern California weather and I def like the sound of that!

I will be living on campus in Edwards Hall! Luckily, Kim and I got into the same dorm so we will be down the hall from each other (fingers crossed!) The pictures above show where I will be living for 5 months!! We have our own pool!! I'm so excited for just that and its just a pool! ha Can't wait to explore more when I get there!!
